Call for Reviewers for 2024 Annual Meeting Proposals

AACTE is pleased to announce the call for volunteer reviewers for its 2024 Annual Meeting conference slated to occur February 16 – 18, 2024, in Denver, Colorado. The conference theme, “Ascending New Heights: Propelling the Profession into the Future,” will bring together scholars, researchers, leaders and practitioners to share impactful research, programs and practices in teacher education, and identify new opportunities to advance the field.

Why become a proposal reviewer?

There are many benefits of becoming a proposal reviewer, including serving the academic community, learning about new and emerging research in the field, and enhancing the quality of your own writing, research, and teaching. Faculty, graduate students, and members of AACTE institutions are encouraged to apply to become proposal reviewers. Reviewers are acknowledged during AACTE’s Annual Meeting and receive a certificate of service from the Association.

What are the requirements for a reviewer?

Proposal reviewers should meet the following criteria:

  • Belong to an active AACTE member institution.
  • Possess knowledge and/or experience in educator preparation and related fields.
  • Demonstrate scholarly productivity and commitment to high-quality, evidence-based research.
  • Be capable of reviewing and evaluating a minimum of 10 proposals in area(s) of self-identified expertise.
  • Be available throughout the review process occurring July 24, 2023 – August 18, 2023.
