EDSAFE AI Alliance Fellowship Nominations Open Now
EDSAFE AI Alliance, which AACTE is a part of, is opening nominations for the Women in AI Fellowship and AI Catalyst Fellowship, which are two, year-long programs that support exceptional and impact-minded individuals by providing an outstanding platform to learn and work on questions of AI in education. Fellows have the opportunity to work with world-renowned experts in AI safety, ethics, and policy. They also participate in a rigorous seminar series, where they learn about the latest advances in AI research and discuss the potential impacts of AI on society.
Women in AI Fellowship
Designed for women technologists, this fellowship creates a space for learning, support, and building a network. Built for leaders in the education sector from industry and the field, this interdisciplinary fellowship brings together leaders on the supply and demand side to reimagine education as a learning system enabled by AI.
Components of the Fellowship:
- Build Knowledge: Through a series of interactive, virtual workshops with the world’s leading experts in AI, you’ll learn the basics but also explore emerging trends and hot topics centered on the SAFE framework.
- Learn with a Cohort: You’ll be in a cohort of 30 people who will learn with and alongside you, sharing their unique perspectives and experiences. The cohort will have mentorship from previous EDSAFE Fellows and gather in person at least once during the year.
- Apply Your Knowledge: You’ll apply your knowledge at the end of the fellowship with a micro capstone which you build, shape, and deploy in your unique context.
The Catalyst Fellowship
Designed for leaders in the education sector from industry and the field, this interdisciplinary fellowship brings together visionaries on the supply and demand side to reimagine education as a learning system enabled by AI.
With the Catalyst Fellowship, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with the latest advancements in AI and explore how it can revolutionize the field of education, with all of the same benefits and components of the Women in AI Fellowship Program.
