This webinar highlights two innovation collaboratives to explore how they are sparking efforts to build stronger systems for preparing educators to engage families and communities.Learn from the Colorado Department of Education, Colorado Department of Higher Education, and University of Northern Colorado about how a statewide survey and focus group helped embed Family Engagement Core Competencies into educator prep.
Attendees will also hear Patricia Edwards and Marliese Peltier of Ball State University discuss how their 5-state virtual professional learning book group increased positive perceptions about collaborating and leading with families.
