Led by the National Center for Teacher Residencies in collaboration with AACTE, Deans for Impact, The Hunt Institute, the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, Teacher-Powered Schools, this inaugural national event will be held April 17-19, 2024, at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
The National Symposium will feature two prominent keynote speakers in education — longtime AACTE member and renowned educator Gloria Ladson-Billings and AACTE Dean in Residence Leslie T. Fenwick, Ph.D.—as well as practitioners, researchers, and experts from the field who will be leading workshops and sessions aligned with the event’s four strands: teacher leadership, educator preparation programs, district/school leaders, and policy.
