Washington Week 2023 Features Diverse Lineup of Speakers

At AACTE’s Washington Week 2023, being held June 4 – 7,  we have gathered a diverse lineup of speakers — policy leaders and experts from Congress, the Biden Administration, the media, and national organizations — to share insights and experiences on attracting, preparing, and retaining educators. Take a look at the full schedule of sessions and events.

Who Should Attend?

State leaders, Holmes scholars, deans and faculty, and other educator preparation professionals are invited to join this premier advocacy event to exchange ideas with like-minded colleagues and leaders and advocate for positive change in educational policies. Register by May 31 to save your spot.

As an attendee, you will explore policy and ways to advocate for investing in educators during planned sessions — and a highlight of Washington Week.

The amount of access we have to our government representatives is important because sometimes as American citizens, we forget. To see that level of access [at Washington Week] where you can reach out and have a conversation about something that you care about in terms of education and educational policies — that’s powerful. We should definitely taadvantage of all the access we have to our representative so we can have conversations that can move the needle.” –Vivian Medina-Messner

Book your room at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel, where Washington Week takes place.  The deadline is May 24 and rooms are going fast.
