AACTE Launches Nationwide Campaign to Support Educators and Education

AACTE is launching “75 Days/75 Ways,” a nationwide campaign  to raise awareness of ways to support changes that ensure every student has a highly trained and qualified teacher in their classroom and equitable education is available for all learners.

“There has never been a more critical time for advocacy in education than now. The inspiration for the 75 Days/75 Ways movement is the work of our member institutions and our state affiliates—groups of individuals who have a passion for making a difference for all educators and all students,” said Lynn M. Gangone, AACTE president and chief executive officer. “Drawing on the expertise of AACTE’s members, 75 Days/75 Ways will highlight the real-world actions and advocacy that supports and celebrates our work in preparing educators and lifting the education profession.”

The new campaign is developed to coincide with AACTE’s 75th Anniversary next year when the association will celebrate its role as the leading voice on educator preparation and advocacy.

Beginning December 12 and ending 75 days later at the commencement of its Annual Meeting on February 24, 2023, AACTE will promote an actionable way each day—based on tips being collected from AACTE members and partners—for the general public to support positive change for educators and education on the local, state and federal levels.
