Daniqua Williams Named Holmes Scholar of the Month

Congratulations to Daniqua Williams, named Holmes Scholar of the month to kick off the 2022-2023 academic year! In June of 2022,  Williams successfully defended her dissertation study titled “Assessing Multicultural Counseling Competency Training with College Counselors who Serve International Students.”

A recent graduate of the Ed.D. program in educational leadership, Williams was in the first cohort of Holmes scholars at Monmouth University. Her research focuses on multicultural
counseling on college campuses. Her latest publication, alongside her colleagues, is titled Inclusion, Diversity Belonging, Equity, and Accessibility Principles on College Campuses: How Faculty and Staff Can Create a Culture of Empowerment for Student Success. The research publication speaks to the foundational principles of inclusion, diversity, belonging, equity, and accessibility (IDBEA) in learning, required to create a meaningful experience for students, faculty, and staff. Williams is looking forward to her next endeavors within the academy.
