AACTE Encourages You to Vote in November
This year, Election Day is November 8 — a little over a month away. In addition to all members of the House of Representatives, 35 U.S. senators, 36 governorships, and scores of state and local officials are up for election. There may also be ballot measures that are important to you and/or your work.
AACTE strongly urges you to exercise your right to vote and cast your ballot in November.
If you have not registered to vote, recently moved jurisdictions or have other questions about your right to vote, the Washington Post recently published a convenient guide about the voter registration deadlines in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, which includes a link to your state’s voter registration website. Please feel free to share the guide with anyone that may be interested or uncertain of their registration status.
AACTE anticipates hosting a webinar shortly after the elections to discuss their impact on AACTE, its members, and the students they work with. Additional information will be forthcoming.
