AACTE Launches New Holmes Program Forms
To improve data collection, scholar support and alumni relations, AACTE has instituted these new Holmes Program forms for institutions and scholars:- Holmes Institutional Application
- Holmes Scholar Enrollment
- Holmes Scholar Exit
The new Holmes Institutional Application form is open to all AACTE member institutions interested in launching a Holmes Program. This form has been revised to clarify institutions commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as their capacity to provide targeted mentorship and professional development to Holmes Scholars, including personnel and financial resources that are available to ensure that scholars receive necessary supports during their tenure in the program. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Upon applying, the institutional representative will be contacted by AACTE staff to discuss their application and next steps.
All enrolled and future Holmes Scholars will be expected to complete the new Holmes Scholar Enrollment Form which collects data on scholars’ program of study, current research, scholarship and service. Recent alumni and graduating scholars are also expected to complete the Holmes Scholar Exit Form which will be used to track where scholars are going professionally, the work they will be doing in the field and their interest in providing mentorship to prospective Holmes Scholars.
