Michael Dantley, dean emeritus of the College of Education, Health and Society at Miami University of Ohio is the new chair of the Board of Directors. AACTE Welcomes New Board Members

In 2022, the AACTE Board of Directors will lead the organization as it prepares for its 75th anniversary and continues to respond to historic challenges confronting educator preparation, including the pandemic, attacks on academic freedom, and reduced enrollment. AACTE Thanks Outgoing Volunteer Leaders

Two outstanding leaders concluded their service on the Executive Committee at the Annual Meeting. Patty Alvarez-McHatton, vice president of strategy at Branch Alliance for Educator Diversity and faculty at Arizona State University, was an at-large member of the Executive Committee. Ann Larson, professor and former dean at the University of Louisville, has had an exceptional tenure on the Board of Directors, having served as secretary and chair of the Board and as chair of the Advisory Council of State Representatives (ACSR).
