Call for Volunteers: Apply by May 29 for AACTE Standing Committees
Your Association wants you! Are you ready to become a leader in the national educator preparation community, or do you know someone who is? Nominate yourself or a colleague by May 29 to serve on an AACTE standing committee.
AACTE is currently seeking applications from volunteers to serve on the following standing committees:
- Global Diversity
- Government Relations and Advocacy
- Innovation and Technology
- Meetings and Professional Development
- Membership Development and Capacity Building
- Professional Preparation and Accountability
- Research and Dissemination
Eligibility
All faculty, staff, and administrators from member institutions are eligible to serve on a standing committee. Candidates must not have served in the same capacity during the past 3 years.
Timing and Term Commitment
Committee appointments will be approved by the AACTE Board of Directors in early fall. Those appointed will serve a 3-year term beginning March 1, 2021, and will meet at least once face-to-face each year. Additional meetings may be held by conference call or online forums.
The call for nominations closes May 29, 2020.
