New Video Highlights the Value of AACTE Membership
How are members making the most of their membership? Watch the new AACTE member video and hear what your peers have to share about the many ways being a member of AACTE has benefited them—federal and state advocacy, events and training, tools and resources, and relationship building.
Remember that AACTE Institutional Membership means that all students, faculty, and staff at your institution receive the same member benefits. To get them registered, simply ask them to complete their online profile by selecting “Create new account.” This will give them access to the following benefits:
- Tools and Resources – The AACTE Resource Library contains hundreds of free webinars, toolkits, and downloadable resources such as Education Students and Diversity: A Review of New Evidence, Special Education Tenets of Clinical Practice, and Promising Practices to Recruit and Retain Male Teachers of Color.
- AACTE Awards – The AACTE Awards Program recognizes excellence in both member institutions and individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of educator preparation. AACTE is currently accepting nominations for a number of awards. Nominate yourself or a colleague by October 9!
- Journal of Teacher Education (JTE) – All members receive a complimentary subscription to JTE, which has a 2018 impact factor of 3.263. JTE is the official journal of AACTE and has been a leading voice in the field of teacher preparation for more than 65 years.
These are just a few of the many benefits AACTE members enjoy. You also have access to the members-only directory to search for and connect with your peers; can present your research and stay current with news, information, and trends related to the profession at the Annual Meeting; and can support the advocacy efforts conducted on behalf of the profession through the AACTE Advocacy Center. Take a moment to view the complete list of benefits.
