9:30 a.m.   Longtime AACTE Day on the Hill attendees Judy Beck and Allen Clarkson will talk about the value of participating in the event each year.
1:00 p.m. AACTE Day on the Hill student participants Lennon Audrain and Brett Blackenship will discuss why it is important for students to get involved with advocating for educator preparation.

Wednesday, June 5

8:30 a.m. AACTE CEO and President Lynn M. Gangone will explain the importance of AACTE and its members’ advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill.
9:30 a.m. Touro College Education Leaders Jacob Easley and Laura Vernikoff will share best strategies on how to promote your talking points during congressional meetings.
10:00 a.m. Florida Atlantic University Education Leaders Rangasamy Ramasamy and Valerie Bristor and their students will discuss why they came to Washington DC to advocate for the profession.
