Connect in the #AACTE18 Conference Community Center
The AACTE Annual Meeting is just 3 weeks away, and in order to maximize your time in Baltimore, you will want to do some advance preparation. With over 250 sessions covering a wide variety of topics of interest, you are guaranteed to find sessions and content that fits your needs. Be sure to check out the AACTE Event Planner, where you can search the Annual Meeting offerings by keywords, topics, conference strands, and other criteria to locate sessions and create your personalized conference itinerary.
One place you most certainly don’t want to miss is the Conference Community Center. Located on the second floor of the Hilton Baltimore, the center is the place for you to connect with colleagues in a dynamic, engaging environment. Conveniently situated in the Key Ballroom Foyer, adjacent to many of AACTE’s Learning Labs, the center offers you a place to take a break and network, while also engaging with our Annual Meeting sponsors in the following booths:
- Watermark – Booth #110
- Edthena – Booth #109
- Evaluations Systems Group of Pearson – Booth #112
- Horace Mann – Booth #111
- UNLV
- ETS – Booth #207
- Motivis Learning – Booth #101
- SUNY/SUNY Press – Booth #203
You can learn more about our sponsors, other exhibitors, and the layout of the Conference Community Center by visiting our Annual Meeting Sponsors and Exhibitors page.
The Conference Community Center is open to all attendees during the following conference hours:
- Thursday, March 1 – 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Friday, March 2 – 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, March 3 – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Be sure to visit often, especially for our Welcoming Brunch and Opening Reception, both of which will happen in the Conference Community Center on Thursday, March 1. Additionally, AACTE will host several coffee breaks in the center on Friday, March 2, and Saturday, March 3. To ensure you don’t miss out, you can even add these breaks in your custom schedule (search “coffee”!) or check out the Annual Meeting Schedule at a Glance for a quick overview of the conference flow.
You will also want to make a stop in the AACTE Gallery, located in Key Ballroom 11-12, conveniently adjacent to the Conference Community Center. The Gallery offers attendees an experience to discover more about AACTE products and services as well as member initiatives in an interactive, dynamic way. Be sure to stop by often, as AACTE will have several giveaways in the Conference Community Center throughout the Annual Meeting.
If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to complete your advance registration for the Annual Meeting by February 20; after that date, all new registrations must be completed on site in Baltimore.
