Introducing the New AACTE Video Wall
Today, we are excited to unveil the new AACTE Video Wall as a tool to better showcase members’ impact and amplify their voices. Please check it out at videos.aacte.org!
For several years, AACTE has encouraged members to “tell their stories” so local communities and policy makers can learn more about the positive work educator preparation professionals do every day. Storytelling is indeed essential to getting your message out in a way that creates lasting impressions in people’s minds and hearts. AACTE is now integrating storytelling, video and technology to more broadly disseminate member stories.
The AACTE Video Wall offers an improved way for navigating video content, categorized into three main channels: Advocacy, Quality, and Partnerships. The videos are tagged to highlight a variety of topics so viewers can see the full lineup of related videos available about each topic. The AACTE Video Wall also showcases several video series that the Association is currently producing.
From event highlights, lectures, and short documentaries to webinars and podcasts, the videos featured on the AACTE Video Wall offer you tools and resources to stay updated on the latest in educator preparation within just a few minutes of viewing time. The new video platform can be used to promote the innovative work of educators by utilizing its embedded capability to easily share a video on social media or send an e-mail.
We invite viewers to share feedback about how user friendly the AACTE Video Wall is in a short survey. The survey is open through October 31 and should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. All survey respondents will be entered in a drawing to win one of two $50 Amazon gift cards. The drawing will take place November 3. To enter, simply review the AACTE Video Wall at videos.aacte.org, and then complete the survey here.
The AACTE Video Wall offers a robust menu already, and we will continue to add more video content over time, including newly produced videos as well as deeper archives. Please take a moment to navigate the video platform, and if you have videos to share about your work in educator preparation, please contact me at email@example.com.
AACTE continually seeks ways to expand our programs, products, and services, and with your help we can enhance and grow our video offerings to share more stories of impact!
