“Please Cosponsor This Bill”: Advocating on Legislation
Monday, March 21, 12:00-1:00 p.m. EDT
How do you reach out and ask a member of Congress to cosponsor a bill? What does cosponsorship mean, and why is it important? Do you have to ask in person or can you use e-mail? These questions and more will be covered in this webinar and in the context of a current bill in the Congress—you will get to put your new knowledge and skills to work right away! These same skills can also be applied to legislation moving through your state legislature.
