Free Webinar From CEEDAR: ‘Innovation Configurations in Action’
The Collaboration for Effective Educator Development, Accountability, and Reform Center (CEEDAR Center) will sponsor a free webinar, “Innovation Configurations in Action,” this Wednesday, January 28, at 1:00 p.m. EST.
Developed last year, innovation configurations are program evaluation tools that help determine the extent to which evidence-based practices are taught, observed, and applied in teacher preparation and professional development programs.
Kathleen Magiera and Rhea Simmons (SUNY Fredonia) will present this webinar. Magiera and Simmons, recipients of an Office of Special Education Programs 325T program enhancement grant, will share how they used innovation configurations extensively in their program reform efforts.
The CEEDAR Center is a national technical assistance center dedicated to supporting states in their efforts to develop teachers and leaders who can successfully prepare students with disabilities to achieve college- and career-ready standards. The center is supported by a cooperative agreement awarded to the University of Florida by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs. AACTE is a national partner of the center.
