Apply for New AACTE Research Fellowship

AACTE is excited to announce a new research fellowship that aims to cultivate emerging scholars and support high-quality research in the area of educator preparation.

The AACTE Research Fellowship for Educator Preparation will engage education researchers in collecting, documenting, and disseminating research on innovative educator preparation practices to fuel program improvement and influence policy decisions.

The fellowship will provide up to $30,000 over the 2014-2015 academic year to one or two teams, each comprising at least one established research scholar and one early-career or emerging researcher in the field of educator preparation. At least two members of each research team must be affiliated with AACTE member institutions. To apply, visit the Online Fellowship Application. The application and all uploaded materials must be submitted through the site and must be received by 11:59 p.m. EDT, March 24, 2014. Semifinalists will be notified by April 28, and the final award recipient(s) will be notified by June 2.
