Not Just for Deans: AACTE Annual Meeting Reaches Broad Audience

Do you think of AACTE’s Annual Meeting as the deans’ conference? Think again!

In 2014, about a quarter of the Annual Meeting registrants identified themselves as deans and another quarter as professors. Representation of program directors, chairs, and staff from colleges of education was also strong.

2014 Annual Meeting Registration by Type

We’re especially pleased to see increased participation by “Emerging Leaders” – faculty or administrators with 5 or fewer years of experience in higher education who have not previously attended AACTE’s Annual Meeting. Each institution can send up to three Emerging Leaders (identified by the Chief Representative). Along with a special welcome at the conference, Emerging Leaders receive a discounted registration rate.

The assortment of offerings at the 2015 Annual Meeting, from hot-topic major forums and concurrent sessions to the town hall meeting and expanded job fair, will truly provide something for everyone. And the robust networking opportunities in the Conference Community Center and elsewhere will connect peers from across the country–even from around the world.

“Just the number of people that you meet here, the schools, the institutions – it’s enormous!” said Willys Michel, University of Central Florida, at last year’s conference.

Secure your spot now at AACTE’s 67th Annual Meeting in Atlanta, February 27–March 1, 2015. Take advantage of the Early Bird rate by November 6 to save $40!
