Your association wants you! Are you ready to become a leader in the national educator preparation community, or do you know someone who is? Nominate yourself or a colleague by May 8 to serve in an AACTE governance role.

AACTE is currently seeking applications from volunteers to serve on the AACTE Board of Directors and the following standing committees:

  • Innovation and Technology
  • Meetings and Professional Development
  • Membership Development and Capacity Building
  • Professional Preparation and Accountability
  • Research and Dissemination

Eligibility
All faculty, staff, and administrators from member institutions are eligible to serve on a standing committee. Board members must be a designated Chief or Institutional Representative. Candidates for all governance seats must not have served in the same capacity over the past 3 years.

Timing and Term Commitment
Committee appointments will be approved by the Board of Directors in early fall. Board candidates will be named by October, and elections will run in November.
