Free Webinars on Fulbright-Hays Grants to Study Abroad

On Tuesday, March 10, the U.S. Department of Education’s International and Foreign Language Education Office will host a free webinar to assist minority-serving institutions (MSIs) with applications for Fulbright-Hays grants. An additional webinar will be open to all audiences the following day.

Fulbright-Hays grants are available for two competitive programs:

  • Group Projects Abroad (applications due March 23) supports overseas training, research, and curriculum development in modern foreign languages and area studies for teachers, students, and faculty.
  • Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (applications due April 28) awards funds to institutions to provide 6- to 12-month fellowships for doctoral students in modern foreign language and area studies to conduct research overseas.

The webinars will be held 1:00-3:00 p.m. Eastern and require preregistration. Register for the March 10 event for MSIs here. Register for the March 11 open webinar, which focuses on the doctoral dissertation grants, here.
